HSBC Live+ Cashback Card 10%, 1.5%, 0% Offer Fullfilment Sheet - MCC

Inspired by SBI Cashback Card Sheet and Swiggy HDFC MCC Code website, I went ahead and started a HSBC Live+ Cashback Card sheet.

By default, most Swiggy 5% and SBI 5% cashback merchants in grocery would qualify for HSBC Live+, however I would only request you to add those which you have actually transacted for.

One USP of this is to also see which Grocery and Dining merchants (offline) use correct MCCs to credit 10% Cashback.

Recently I faced an issue while using my HSBC Live+ credit card at D-Mart.
When I tried to pay using the card (contact method), the Innoviti POS machine showed an error and detected my card as an international card, so the transaction was declined. I tried three times on the Innoviti terminal and it didn’t work. Then I tried on the HDFC POS terminal, and the same error occurred twice.
After five unsuccessful attempts, I finally tried tap-and-pay (contactless) on the Innoviti machine, and that transaction was successful.
Has anyone else faced this “card detected as international card” issue at D-Mart?
Also, could someone confirm whether tap-and-pay contactless transactions at physical POS are eligible for the 10% cashback on the HSBC Live+ card?

Yep, I also faced the issue at a local grocery shop where card was declined twice and then had to activate tap and pay to use the card. It was Paytm machine and even didn’t get any sms of transaction decline. I used the card at this shop previously without any issue.

Just curious to know why you people use PIN method instead of Tap & Pay when the amount is <5000

just for the sake of safety , though don't know its true or myth that scammers can steal money by tapping without our knowledge but there is surely a risk of stealing/misplacing the card 🤐. Also its a habit of using PIN.
