Has anyone successfully applied on or after December 8th?

I'm hearing that HDFC has finally stopped issuing this card, stating it's only available for senior citizens.

Even if they allow to apply with number of applications bombarding the card will be soon going for devaluation I suppose in coming months

Let's see how months we still can get 5%. It's matter of time and may be it can get extend some more time if card is not issued for new applications or if they allow only for senior citizens

I applied for it on 6th. The employees had mentioned that it's for senior citizens only but they'll submit an application anyway just to try. Don't really expect the application to be accepted now but lets see

Did this error show after u swiped right on the card to pay or before that itself?

This is resolved. You need to add the card first in Mycards tab in the PayzApp and then you will be able to use it for paying CC Bills.

Old platinum card is deactivated immediately on delivery of rewards card. Fingers crossed this may or may not work and maybe max this month but old platinum is gone forever.

What happens to existing platinum reward points?
Do we need to redeem all before placing new card request?

In my case they transferred, currently both are active cards and both show same RPs
