SBI Card PhonePe SBI Card – CVP new SBI CC launching

I received two SMS messages for my SBI Credit Card application with the same application number 2834XXXXXXX798, but they are contradictory.

1. First SMS:
   “Congratulations! Your SBI Card application has been approved. Your card will reach you in 7 working days.”
2. Second SMS (received later):
   “We have received your SBI Card application. Please give us 11 working days to process it. Annual fee is ₹1499 for PhonePe SBI Select RuPay card.”

I am confused because:

• I did not submit any documents (salary slip, bank statement, etc.) this time.
• I had applied for an SBI card 2 years ago, and the same thing happened — first SMS said approved, then later it was rejected.
• I want to know whether this current application is really approved or still pending.

Can someone please clarify what these mixed messages mean? Should I expect the card to be issued or wait for further verification?did anyone faced anything like this

If you have applied then this type of messages shows you have approved and 100% will get card
And please contact sbi customer care team about this if you haven't really applied because many scam messages are there
I have also a reliance sbi prime card but i have also got messages like this of sbi prime card application i contacted the cc team they told there is nothing like this on my profile...

Now i heard "PP BBPS UTILITY" automatically credited 10% Cashback.

Old transaction - contact nodal officer mail id they will manually credited (already got 10% cb through nodal officer).

And was purchasing an Amazon Pay GV of Rs 5000 from Amazon but the merchant name is Showing ASSPL for this card instead of the usual Amazon Pay India Privatet...
Will this merchant fetch 5% on the Phonepe CC?

There is an issue: My phonepe app is showing that my card application is declined BUT I have received my card...

1. Will my card get integrated to the phonepe app eventually by itself?
2. If not...then do I need to do anything?
3. If I use my card on PP will I receive the 10% benefit even if the card is not showing in the PP app as of now?

was your card first rejected and then approved upon review?

That means you have 2 application for the card and the phonepe one got rejected then upon review you would have done kyc again and got approved...
In phonepe app they don't integrate the ones which is not applied from them
After getting confirmation from bank it will automatically show in app
