I am using eazydiner since the day this app was launched.
I have enjoyed some really unique benefits which I am not sure if they are available now. Before covid, they had organized a party for people with 15k points in Conrad and I got to enjoy an extensive 5 star menu, which included unlimited cocktails, 4 different wines and a 5 course menu. Even Vir Sanghvi and several prominent media folks were there.
Earlier they used to have 1+1 buffet at 5 star restaurants and extra 25% off on top of that. This made buffet for 2 people at places like Ritz Carlton, Sheraton, Mariott for just around 1500 bucks.

Now the benefits are not as great as before, but I am still loyal to the app.

I am using my hdfc cc to get 5% back on top of restaurant offers on Swiggy Dineout.
I believe there's always an offer to pay via CC. I never tried GVs but I am sure you can use it as well.

Yes, I am paying with CC from the app only. This way you can get restaurant discount + cc offer on the app.
OR
You can ask them to adjust the discount directly in the bill, if they agree you can swipe your CC in the machine.

For walk in and pre booking, any charges are there ?

Yes, a small fee per person for booking in both the apps.
Zomato will adjust the booking amount in the bill, but Swiggy won't I think. There will be a message right below the booking amount you pay. Don't forget to check it.
