HDFC Regalia Mastercard to Rupay

Today i got my Regalia Rupay credit card after conversion from Mastercard to Rupay. Can be used on UPI.

how did u get it ? i called customer care they said they couldnt do it i gotta write to chennai cc office also i got ltf MC Regalia would it be the same for rupay regalia ? if i convert it

Initially i wrote email to hdfc, they denied that Rupay card on Hold. Then i called CC, she told option is visible for Rupay conversion, she will try but cant guarantee and on next day it converted.

You got it converted from MC to Rupay directly?? I had to follow the MC > Visa > Rupay route for conversion

yesterday when contacted one cc said its not possible then today when i called they requested from their end cant confirm it gets approved i think it will get approved soon though

You can check netbanking if new card is generated.

Why I asked is I have Mc regalia and bought Tata neu card for upi and bargains going on for ltf suppose if I miss ltf I can close Tata and convert regalia mc to rupay

Upi is just a spend option like pos online and tap pay
