Regarding Axis gyftr portal

So I had this doubt. It would be great if anyone clarifies it.

On Axis gift edge for portal almost all brands have 5X to 10X points (including brands like Flipkart Amazon Myntra etc). So using Magnus we easily get 30-60% ER on most of the brands, which is insane.

There’s no capping of points like Grabdeals like 10k/customer/calendar month if I’m not wrong.

If we purchase gift card from this site we’re guaranteed to get Cashback in 90-120 days, unlike grabdeals in which chances of Axis not able to record the Cashback is very high. Even mine was not recorded due to some session breakage.

I’ve 2 questions
1. Why does everyone use Grabdeals when gyftr gives more rewards on more brands with no capping and assured rewards.

2. Many brands mention that at max X voucher can be used in 1 transaction. But gift card has only 1 code. Does this mean that if I want to purchase 10K product from Flipkart and at max 3 gift cards are allowed. Then 5K*2 voucher will work but 2K*5 will not?

Once I purchase gift card of X denominations, how do they know that how many denominations I’ve selected to purchase this voucher?

My Second question is bit tricky but considering people here ask questions a lot trickier than this, I’m sure I’ll get the answer to this 😅

Thanks in advance!

1. People use grabdeals for specific transactions which provide more than 10x returns (eg Marks and Spencers is 40x). Apart from that, it is advisable to use gyftr.

2. Each brand has a different limitation on how many vouchers you can apply in one single transaction. In your example, 5K*2 will work and not 2K*5 because of the flipkart limit of maximum 3 vouchers.

Once you purchase gift cards of X denominations, it is the brand online or offline store where you apply the gift card that restriction will be placed. So it doesn't matter to gyftr how many you buy. Eg. You can buy 20 Ola vouchers in one go and Gyftr won't stop you but you go to Ola app, it won't allow you to use more than 1 Ola voucher at a time.

So for example in gyftr we can buy maximum of 9 vouchers in Flipkart. If I 10 vouchers worth 1L (10k*10), it’ll apply 90k and rest will remain in my wallet?

In some cases like MMT, Yatra or Decathlon. There’s no such thing as wallet but a gift card option at the end. In that if the above case happens then rest of the amount is wasted right? Because gift card once applied cannot be used again.

Also if I want to return/cancel something then also wallets will give me refund but gift card websites will not, if I’m not wrong.

When you buy a gift card on Gyftr, you will just receive a code which then needs to be applied in your brand account. eg. If you buy 5 vouchers of 10k worth for flipkart, you will receive 5 codes that you can go and add in your flipkart account. When placing the order on flipkart, you can use at max 3 vouchers for payment.

Now there are two types of brands on Gyftr:
1) Brands offering vouchers that can be added to their wallet which can then be used partially. In case of refunds, you receive money back in your voucher. Popular brands in this category are Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart, Amazon SV, Amazon GV, MMT, etc.
2) Brands offering one time use vouchers. These vouchers can't be used partially and if the transaction value is lower than voucher amount, you would have to forfeit the remaining money left in voucher. These type of vouchers also don't provide you with refunds. Popular brands in this category are Ola, Yatra, Blinkit, etc.

Okay I was under an assumption that we can get only 1 code for all the amount we’ve purchased. I’ve never tried buying multiple vouchers. Got it
