HDFC regalia FYF to LTF

I asked HDFC for limit enhancement on my current moneyback+ and they asked for salary slips which I provided. But they rejected my LE request with reason, “basis card usage and payment pattern”. (FYI this is really vague reason and I’m 100% sure they checked nothing as I use my card very responsibly and always pay on time that reflects in my credit history too) but anyways that’s the point where I bashed on HDFC that why they asked my salary details when rejection was based on another reason. And scolded them and mailed PNO and asked compensation, on which they refrained LE but to my surprise agreeing to their mistake they offered FYF regalia as compensation from their side. Now what do I say that they give me LTF regalia.

What is your requirement? If its for travel get regalia ask for rupay variant with ltf if not get milleania card ltf

Yes it does allow international lounge i personally didnt try but i can followed many threads and saw many people claim they accessed get rupay variant of regalia also heard they not giving rupay variant u can try your luck though i got my rupay regalia last month or two

Can you tell rupay vs visa regalia difference or both offer same benefits ? It will help me decide which one to go for and then will chase hdfc for that variant card

Visa reduced its lounge access that is what i read and rupay has more now also with rupay card you can pay almost 90% of yours upi transactions and get cashback of 1% where a visa card can't be used most cases as small shops dont accept cards and you get to keep money in your account,there is bad side too with this as you see lot of balance in account and buy unnecessary things also with upi for each 150rs they give 4 rp same as card but upi is more acceptable for most transactions there is a limit of 500rp per month i guess via upi but they didn't stopped yet

That’s great to know. Let them give decision whether they will give me LTF or not. If yes then will surely request for regalia rupay, thanks
