I made a purchase on an ecommerce website through an Axis credit card which was eventually returned. However, the merchant website ended up refunding my original payment directly to my bank account via GPay and not back to the credit card.
So, my question is, would I retain the reward points in this situation since the refund didn't go through the card and for all purposes, the CC company has no record of the order being cancelled?
The card I used was Axis Magnus, so I am trying to figure out if I need to make additional spends to cover my monthly milestone. Anyone with any experience whether this purchase would be revoked on the credit card?
