Hi All,

I have a doubt. HDFC asked me to send the relevant documents including the one-page application form to their Chennai office. I sent it last week. How soon after receiving can we expect a resolution.

You can expect it in a week after they receive the application form. However, they accepted mine through email.

Hey, in my case after receiving the docs, the limit was increased within 4 days
They sent email about the same 7 days later
We don’t have to reply or do anything after it’s accepted

So do we have to do something at our end after they accept the application for LE/upgrade? Or is everything is done from their end itself?
Everything is done by them and they will inform you on how much they decided to increase the limit to and you have the rights to either accept or decline it.

You can send email
I did, of course! They asked for "duly signed letter to below mentioned address".

Or maybe I'll scan a letter and send them?

For HDFC, you'll have to yell at them like why are you asking me to send documents by post and why can't I send them over the email bla bla you're outdated and technology. Then they will ask you to send documents over the email. I sent an email and got limit enhancement too
Sent this in email:

Does the email from my registered email address, authenticated with my password and an OTP as second factor of authentication not suffice? If you can trust email enough to send all my statements by it, why can't you trust email enough for this request?

Let's see what they say.

Exactly. Simply ask them who will take the responsibility if the document gets compromised during transit?

This worked! I got my RuPay MoneyBack+ in a couple weeks.

Wish they had Millenia RuPay! I have a Millenia offer but am not taking it because of the minimum spend. 1L isn't too high, but without UPI it'll be harder to manage. And they don't seem willing to waive it off etc.
