HDFC millennia VS HDFC DCP

I have LTF Hdfc Millennia Diners with 1 lac limit, I can apply for LTF HDFC privilege under institute program. But recently dcp was devalued
I want to get to DCB fastest ( Applying for dcp will increase my limit and will help me get to DCB fastest )
What should I do?

Your limit has no correlation with the card you hold. I got DCB upgrade from Diners Clubmiles.

Don't apply for Privilege
They won't give you a limit of over 5L (which is needed for DCB)
You will most likely be stuck, unless you fulfill their income criteria

Once they're over 5-6L, do c2c for DCB

I also received Diners Millennia LTF to DCP last month and still the offer is available but I am not going to upgrade it as DCP is scrap now.
I mailed to hdfc to upgrade it to Regalia Gold or DCB but they replied it is not possible right now. My Millennia CC have 2.2 L limit.

It is good to convert Diner Millennia LTF to Millennia VISA variant to get upgrade offer for Regalia Gold to Infinia ?
I also have Preferred family banking with 3 accounts with maintaining around 8 lac average balance in all accounts since Jan 2023.

What are you looking for ultimately? Is it DCB then DCP makes sense only if you intend to make hefty spends on it also your base limit has to be at least 5,00,000/- to be eligible for upgrade. If it’s infinia then regalia gold makes sense but again same conditions apply here as well to move forward. Best way would be to increase you credit limit first on existing card and then go for next level cards as upgrade doesn’t necessarily mean Limit enhancement as well.

Also with regards to converting Millenia Diners to Millenia Visa if you intend to make spends do place a request for change otw dont.
