Just wondering if they will start giving 2nd card just like hdfc, one core + one co-branded. Or if we can upgrade from Select to Vistara without any high eligibility criteria (a card offering premium economy means, this card will be similar to axis Vistara signature.)

2 on joining and renewal
now the only difference becomes the points earning rate if this is better that sbi and axis then this card will attract a customer base

Silver tier? If all things remain same i will shift from sbi as sbi cc is poor vs idfc

mostly yes
if they give gold tier then they will get a huge customer base but i dont think they can afford it
so they will price it at 3k + gst joining and annual fee
silver tier as well
only thing to lookout is reward rate

I have 2 cards from idfc
One customised select and one wealth which was upgraded from select
If you customise a card by one time payment then on upgrade they keep that card active
