so one airline and 2 FF programs? v unlikely!!leave the merger
vistara has said that even after the merger nothing will change to the rewards system
what i meant by the reward system was the redemption rate and allso one airline and 2 FF programs? v unlikely!!
Expecting following pattern :-things to lookout.
1. Joining Fee - should not greater than 3K
2. Welcome bonus
3. Earning rate.
4. Milestone.
Obviously it will change because there isn’t going to be any Club Vistara post merger. They have made it very clear that Air India Flying Returns will continue which is logical also as Air India is already Star Alliance Partner while Vistara isn’t in any alliance. And currently while Vistara rewards program is good, Flying Returns is bad. My guess is merged program will be somewhere in between. So current Vistara will definitely see some devaluation (especially after so many ppl having so many Club Vistara miles).what i meant by the reward system was the redemption rate and all
after merging there will be changes but the rates of redemption wont change this is what everyone received in mail
according to the mail no devaluation is expected maybe they will bring air india flying returns to vistara levelObviously it will change because there isn’t going to be any Club Vistara post merger. No info or source, just my guesstimate.
if jf is 5k they wont be able to capture a market share as sbi and axis are giving the same benefits at 3k+gstExpecting following pattern :-
Joining Fee of Roughly - Rs5k + GST with 1premium economy free
Cv Points 3/100rs spent.
Milestone voucher tickets every 1.25L/tkt(if 1lakh even better)
If it turns out this way then its a good card to get

there are could be multi variants too similar to Axis.if jf is 5k they wont be able to capture a market share as sbi and axis are giving the same benefits at 3k+gst
It's not about being optimistic they have sent an email to vistara members saying that their rewards system won't change![]()
Air India to end brand Vistara after merger
While Tata-run Air India completed a year of privatization in January, Vistara started operations in January 2015 as a 51:49 joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines.www.livemint.com
On can always remain optimistic or remain realistic (especially after Magnus shock).
This one is for premier economy tickets so needs to be priced according to Competitorsthere are could be multi variants too similar to Axis.
IDFC usually likes having a premier tier considering they usually have HNI's.
yes may be only variant pic is leaked/teased. There could be business class variant toooThis one is for premier economy tickets so needs to be priced according to Competitors

Why? It looks like it competes with the Axis Vistara Signature and looks decent. Intl lounge access, CV Silver and the annual fee is more than offset by the Premium Eco voucher+class upgrade. Also more rewarding at 6CV/200 INR.Looks very sad compared to the Axis Vistara Infinite.
It is poor compared to axis and sbi mainly because idfc is charging 2k extra as jf and renewal fee. Why? It looks like it competes with the Axis Vistara Signature and looks decent. Intl lounge access, CV Silver and the annual fee is more than offset by the Premium Eco voucher+class upgrade. Also more rewarding at 6CV/200 INR.
Uld suggest to go for sbi or axis vistara cardJust tried the initial steps of application. It shows the shared limit for your other idfc card and may let you apply as a second card. No income proof is required. Not sure about KYC process and Cibil hit. Should I apply for this? I don't have any Vistara cobranded card from sbi or axis.
