I was expecting this'd be an easy card to get but seeing all the hassle, I'm having second thoughts.

I have SC Ultimate now but thinking to close it and wanted to get this one before that happens (assuming having an existing card makes it easy). Anyone with SC Ultimate had an easy experience and still managed to avoid the fees?

LTF is only for new to bank customers and not for existing ones

Which CC to go for - Platinum Rewards (LTF) or Smart CC (FYF)? Please help me choose.

Also, would Smart CC be eligible for all StanC offers everywhere (Amazon etc), since it provides extra Cashback on online transactions like SBI Cashback, which is not eligible for SBI offers in sale?

that's called, "not applicable existing card holder".

always look for TnCs followed by *
I applied under the impression that it was free(i remember that the existing clause was not there in June) , now they charged me 295 ₹, so I mailed them to cancel the card, they said pay the bill first, I mailed pno and they reversed the charge and cancelled the card, also card doesn't have fuel waiver, I wanted to use it as fuel card but after reading the terms card is waste

Platinum Rewards is the only LTF card as of now SC is providing as of now.

If your online spends are more , try going for Smart CC , as i saw in @TechnoFino sir video , this card gives 2% cashback even for wallet reloads also it comes with nil joining fees as per current offer and also the approval rate is more in case of Smart CC.

I went for Smart cc for 2 reasons ,

  1. They were giving oneplus nord buds till 31st june applications
  2. The approval rate is more than SC Platinum as this is the only chance to get SC CC.
Just my thought , for more info , see the offer details and apply for the card based on your requirements.
