Axis removing utility and Govt spends from most cards

Getting difficult day be day to decide which card to set as primary. 🥲
Is vistara trio the only ones which allows moat of payments?

I guess most people buy Amazon pay voucher and pay utilities bill. Axis at least have it without charges. HDFC has increased the convenience charges for it.

i think axis is clamping down on ER distribution full power and expects a majority to close the cards. Once the dust settles, they will slowly bring some features back but will make getting cards a bit more difficult than it is now(something like not applied in last 1yr or something)

What options do we have for NPS and govt property tax and income tax? I was planning on using Ace for these . But now that's no longer lucrative

Cards ineligible confirmed:-

  • Magnus
  • Reserve
  • Ace (Utility Eligible Still)
  • Privilege
  • Select

Pending confirmation for atlas and vistara cards.

Looks like axis is looking to cover all magnus losses by suspending utilities and govt spends.
Axis Ace credit card holders use Snapay app, charges just 1.18% and get Flat 2% unlimited cashback and transfer to bank. Snapay transaction count under Utility billpay.
