Do connect customer care and ask using which surrogate they offered this limit?

Hdfc only giving high limit on pre approved credit cards.

Don't activate, just give the reply/feedback, "I got credit limit very less than my previous existing card and it's not been even 10% of my credit."

If you are thinking to use it:-
1.You can try mailing, with itr else salary slip. They might increase card limit.
2.You can increase on fd lien too.
