ICICI rupay Coral Rupay CC transaction failure refund issue.

I have made two transactions through the newly launched ICICI Rupay Credit Card by the UPI mode. Both the transaction were made through imobile app. Both got failed but Money got debited. Customer care is telling to wait for 1 month!!! They have taken the complaint but the resolution time is 9 week. Why such a long time in this digital era. When UPI is being touted as one of the best technological development in recent years. Has this something to do with Rupay cards or ICICI Bank services. If anyone has faced such issues, kindly let me know the resolution time. The total amount is close to 11k.

Use payzapp instead of imobile, in case of transaction failure, amount doesn't get debited in payzapp.
For this resolution, you have to keep trying & pushing to refund it at the earliest.

Yes I have the payzapp app, but since I got this new card I was using through imobile. Please help with the resolution process.

Same problem happened with me. ICICI Bank such a long time 9 week.

Wait for some day, it'll get credited back.

Dnt use imobile app for CC on UPI transaction, imobile is not fully live yet for CC on UPI transaction.

I got all my ICICI CC on UPI transaction refund within 24hrs without any complaint.

2nd thing, there is no link between RuPay cards and Credit on UPI. Both are seperate network and both have separate settlement system.

You can apply for UPI chargeback after few days, if refund is not credited, ICICI also give you temp credit.

Normal UPI is best technological development but Credit on UPI is not yet.

Credit on UPI is new born baby, just 1 year old.

99% Indians dnt understand normal UPI (bank account link UPI) and Credit on UPI (RuPay credit card link UPI) both are different thing.

How much different ?

Well, same as Male vs Female. Ya, both are human being but you guys already know the difference between Male and Female (Female has reproductive system).

Same thing, normal UPI (bank account link UPI) is MALE (7 to 8 years old) and Credit on UPI (RuPay credit card link UPI) is Female (1 year old).

Both are called UPI but their network is different.

Current scenario is that Credit on UPI work on bank account link UPI network that's why sometimes transactions are failing.

If you take my example of male vs female then you can say that currently Credit on UPI is intimate with bank account link UPI network.

Ya, you read it right. Give it another 1 or 2 years and then you will see Credit on UPI network will born.

Now Ab jo log bolega yeh kya samjhane ka tarika tha ? male, female, intimate ? toh mai kya karu. India me actually logo ko Credit on UPI ko humare normal UPI k sath jod k dekh raha hai. Jab ki dono alag hai.

Credit on UPI network abhi tak sahi se janam nahi liya hai.

ICICI also give you temp credit. if you apply for UPI chargeback but first wait for 5 working days and then apply for UPI chargeback.

Mine also stuck but luckily only 88 rupees. Did mobile recharge from Paytm via coral UPI imobilepay. Recharge failed but amount deducted. They also gave me time 9 week for resolution.

Every single person I read in this forum (including me) had to raise a dispute, with out which they are not entertaining any refunds.. absolutely there is no automatic refund happened in any of these cases..
How come you got automatic refund for all your failed transactions.. How many you did? and when?
Have you done all these transactions are iMobile App?

Mine is 8 days and I have not get the automatic refund yet

you will never get refund automatically ...
You need to raise a dispute and then ICICI guys will provide you temp credit and will finish their investingation in 9 weeks, and GOD knows what happens after that..
None our community users have passed that 9 weeks mark yet..

I faced two issues with Credit Card UPI failures. One is with ICICI Coral and another one is with HDFC Tata Neu.

1.I used HDFC Tata Neu Card in Flipkart, payment failed and refund also failed. Later Flipkart helped to get refund in Bank account

2. Faced an issue while transacting through BHIM UPI with Coral credit card, transaction and refund both failed. I know that BHIM is on my opposite side, So I have to suffer a lot for refund...


So there are major issues for refund on credit card UPI payments

so now, it is also happening with BHIM as well.. as some of our brothers who are using on BHIM had never faced any issues until now..

They are not providing me temporary limit since my bill has been generated ,also they are saying we can't raise a dispute and u have to wait for 30 days after which we will do the needful

No. no...
Ask them to transfer you to Credit Card dispute team and there you ask them to raise the dispute and create an SR..
the first level guys know FCUK about this issue..

so now, it is also happening with BHIM as well.. as some of our brothers who are using on BHIM had not faced any issues until now..

Transaction failure is not a big issue, it's normal... Problem is refund failed... Why I fear is I had to submit Bank details to Flipkart for refund, I don't know how will I get refund for BHIM transaction

Problem is refund failed.

Completely understood.. Hence they haven't implemented the software correctly..
The transaction can fail for 'N" number of reasons.. when it fails the refund should happen automatically... so it is the software implementation issue with regard to CC on UPI...
