It is not necessarily fraud from the seller ,and there is an element of Customer Fraud as well...

Fraud as in, from customer, from seller, from delivery guys. All kinds. Open box reduces the possibility to great extent. Only issue is if one isn't available to take delivery in person. Like in my case if me and wife both aren't present then my mother will find it tough to validate the open box delivery.

Amazon is running in big losses, as they have burnt their hands by going very agressive in the intial 5 years.. now had to recover some money hence no more attractive offers.

This is an operational issue, not much can be done.

this year sale isn't a sale though.. it 1 year old one from release date so price can go future.. so price aside.. it a good watch though.. some watchos10.1 feature isn't coming to any watch series other than 9(the one i Apple watch event can't remember what the feature called though ).. so it well worth of 28028/-. you didn't mention the which size is that though..

Hmm i have iPhone 13 n s22 with bud pro and apple airpod pro 2. And intact my buds pro connect to my iphone instantly vs on s22 if I don't unlock it won't show up connect to vs on iphone I have 3 more earbuds which connect automatically.

Luckily for me shopping season with FK went well this time. Ordered total of 5 orders including iPhone, Macbook air M2 etc... All delivered and all open box... got good price too for all of them. Used all Axis and ICICI cards and almost maxed out on card discounts

So when Flipkart does open box delivery for a MacBook, do they open just the brown Flipkart carton box, or do they open the apple box. As I'm looking to buy this as a gift and would not want to gift an open box.

They do the unboxing.
Atleast when I bought iphone from them unboxing was done in front of delivery guy and I even switched it on to make sure it isn't dead on arrival.

You can refuse to open the Apple box but then flipkart won't take any responsibility if something is missing in Apple box or if your unit isn't working.
