New PS5 slim with 30% less volume and 1TB is launched today. Looks like old PS5 is currently being sold on discount to liquidate inventory. Compared to that prices have not dropped that much

Didn't expect ps5 slim to come this year. I bought one in April this year. Would have waited if I knew this is coming. Happens.

Atleast when I bought iphone from them unboxing was done in front of delivery guy and I even switched it on to make sure it isn't dead on arrival.

You can refuse to open the Apple box but then flipkart won't take any responsibility if something is missing in Apple box or if your unit isn't working.

Luckily for me shopping season with FK went well this time. Ordered total of 5 orders including iPhone, Macbook air M2 etc... All delivered and all open box... got good price too for all of them. Used all Axis and ICICI cards and almost maxed out on card discounts

Wanted to know for open box delivery for your MacBook, did they open just the brown Flipkart carton box, or did they open the apple box. As I'm looking to buy this as a gift and would not want to gift an open box.

They opened brown box and later on asked me to open the Inside main Macbook box there itself (rather I told them that I will open). After that photos are taken of laptop for verification. You can request to not open the main box, but I am not sure

They unbox everything and then take pictures of the product. Switch on the electronics in front of them and if they're not working, don't give the OTP. If you give the OTP, you lose all leverage if the product is defective. Then return or replacement becomes very difficult.

Also recommend you to take a video during the unboxing for concrete proof.

You can take the box unopened. That's upto you. But when there's something missing from the box, you can't blame Flipkart. That's what open box delivery means.

You should open the box and see the laptop and then pack it again.. anyways laptop box has tape on them that you can put it again..

MBPs have this one time removal tear lines. If someone has already opened the box, it would be obvious.

It still can be packed.. you could gift wrap it as well.. anyways it's safer for your to check the content before giving it as gift.. it will look very bad if the person receiving it as gift finds soap instead of laptop inside the box.. which is ok if you had found it and in front of delivery guy

Yeah from 825gm to 1tb, you can install may be one cod game 🤣 since it ps5 slim they are no changes in the cpu n gpu.
