It seems Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has collaborated with IDFC First bank to launch life time free (LTF) credit cards. The MITC shows below given variants. It could also be in RuPay variant.

Axis LIC CC was also offered LTF few months ago (not sure about now, have to contact agent).

All lic cards are LTF. But 5% is too much. I think they don't give even 2% on any existing cards.

only good feature of it is 8 lounge access free "unconditional"

I think it's 1 for core cards, you can have IDFC Select alongside Power plus (HP). So LIC would also be allowed alongside core card.

both are not good enough simply
