Hdfc current account rupay CC charges.

They are lying. Just complain to rbi. You'll get call from branch in couple of days. Like @DocFixIt said unless you used availed a service or opted for OD, you can easily close account. They say those things, so that they can pocket that amount.

Online complaint is wip on ass on branch guy specially hdfc , ICICI, idfc 😁

Hello everyone..

A few days back i saw my current account with hdfc bank is on minus 20k.
Where i was maintaining sufficiant balance.

So i mailed hdfc bank and raised a complaint with them.
Now received a response from them saying

These charges are pending to recover regarding Rupay CC.
So i contacted my RM.
He said in my current account i received payments via rupay CC. And the charges are pending to recover from you so account is on minus.

I Said atleast bank should notify me.
And if These payments Received through Rupay CC then Charges Should be deducted on settlement date.
Why suddenly these charges are lavied.
The RM said bank have right they can lavy charges anytime.


my Quuestion can these charges get Reveresed ? As it is lavied as 2%+ gst
And it will impact on my profits.
I my Self don't use Rupay CC on above 2k transactions.
As i am aware above 2k there is charges.

what should i do now?

what it seem you have HDFC QR Code i forget the name of the QR code. so basically in any QR code merchant payment t1+ the money is deducted during settlement not in once. so the one you're using what the settlement cycle? T1+ or T3? i would suggest change Merchant QR code to Phonepey cause they are not charging anything till now or i have one for my website and i haven't paid any MDR changes via customer pay via CC or any mode of prepaid payment.

In my case its T+1
Many customer's payment get credited on next day.
But that time no charges been deducted but they suddenly charged big amount.
Thats i am fighting with them.
Lets what happen next

Update.

After multiple complaints and Emails.
Hdfc bank did not reversed the charges.
Went till nodel officer..
But received a letter today saying they cancelled my POS terminal which is in My shop?
received call from them few days ago
And mail also mentioning charges will not Reversed.

Decided not To Accept cards payment in shop and Rupay UPI cc payments also.
As rupay upi cc is just nighmaire...
