Hi,
I applied for a new HDFC CC and was told by my local branch correspondent that I am eligible for Regalia Gold based on my Card 2 Card Application Request(ICICI Coral CC) having a credit limit above 7.5L. Also, they took my salary slip clearly showing a salary above 1.2L/month.
During the card verification call, I was told the same was successful and I am being issued Regalia Gold as LTF.
After a few days, I received a call from the bank that there was some issue for the same and I am eligible for HDFC MoneyBank CC. I asked what is the reason for this, they told me to enquire with the person who applied for your application.
After enquiring with my local branch CC correspondent, they told me that I am issued a Credit Limit of 67K only, but the Card is issued with a minimum limit of 3L. Thus the application is being downgraded. Either I accept the downgrade(to MoneyBank) or get the card issued as the non-LTF (2.5K/yr charges). And there is nothing else they can do about it.
Please suggest to me how to proceed.
Can I contact any grievance portal to help me in this case?
