Regalia To close Regalia or not?

My wife has a Regalia card along with Tata Neu Infinity with common limit. Spends are bare minimum as she has add-on cards of my DCB Metal, SBI Elite and Magnus. In fact, she does not use Regalia at all, and lounge access is through the add-on cards. There is also no point upgrading Regalia to any higher card. Should I just make her close the card and retain only Tata Neu?

Keep it if LTF ,because if you close it ,it might be difficult to get a core card with HDFC

I'm not sure if it's LTF. With the card being devalued so much, will it be easy to convert to LTF?

Check if you've been charged annual fee in last 1 year ,or call up customer care and ask

If its paid ,you can put a Cancellation request ,and then push for LTF with retention team ,tell them about devaluation and all

You can ask your RM about whether it's LTF or not ,

But whether your RM can convert to LTF or not is a hit or miss ,try it out

Delay response, Even if its a LTF , its not of much use except for only one thing which is the priority pass which you can get along with any regalia card. Now a days you are getting free upgrades to Regalia Gold which is kind'a OK.
