ICICI Amazon Pay Application showing rejected on Amazon App but haven't received any mail regarding rejection.

I applied for Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card two days ago. Today at around 11 am when I checked the "Document Verification" Stage was completed and it was on "Application Under Process" stage.

Now the amazon app is showing Rejected but I have not received any mail from ICICI regarding the same.

I have 2 CCs (SBI & AXIS) and Cibil is 768.

  • Is this really rejected or is there any glitch?
  • Also, how can i check the status using the Application number, as the option to track is not available on amazon anymore?

It's rejected @rated__9-by-11, not a glitch ICICI is slow while sending email
ICICI is very selective while giving Apay card. You better go for the Platinum Chip & after getting that take the Apay One.
Apply button will be available after 6 months for the Apay one in the app

Not only apay .. icici wants that their customers should be rich as f***

Now, as far as i know Banks are supposed to give proper reason for rejection as per RBI Guidelines, so I mailed them again threatening to raise a complaint at RBI if they do not provide with legitimate reason (just to see what they will say).

Lets see what happens.

Yes, I opened a Wealth Management Account to get LTF icici sapphiro dual credit card but they are offering me the chargeable one so I am waiting for my RM to get me the LTF one I Already have APay, Coral Rupay, Mine, Platinum Chip

Have you got any ICICI CC or SB account?

They will not Provide any specific reason they will simply reply with an "internal bank policy" RBI will also not be able to help better wait for a few months use the Amazon Application frequently to get the pre-approved offer

Use Amazon Pay Later & Shopping also, always try to pay in advance for all the orders using other credit cards and pay few credit card bills also.
Last Year around March month I got the pre-approved Apay Card Offer with 1.5L limit first unsecured card previously applied once or twice got rejected.Got approved within a day and the physical card was delivered within 3 days no documents were asked during the process.
Did not have any existing relation with ICICI bank before the card. Within 6 months got LE to 4.2L and now have a total of 4 cards from ICICI waiting for the 5th one
