Plat Charge at 50% fee? (it's not, it a typo mistake from amex)

Received this mail for amex plat at just 30k annual fee. Has anyone else received the same? Is there any catch?

Heh, yes, I received it as well. Likely a bad typo. They're giving too much, such as Taj voucher of INR 60K, for just 30K annual fees.

I don’t think it’s a typo. The card was previously offered to air india plat card holders at this fee as well

Heh, no, it doesn't work like that. It's just a typo in a promotional mail. Further, if one applied, I think one would see the annual fee being correctly reflected just before the final submit, also within the TnC.

Apply if you anyways wanted to. They may not give at 30k but may give something else to compensate for confusion.
