Amex Taj Voucher redemption options

This is wrong info, I have redeemed Amex vouchers for F&F rate(50% off rate, much better than any of Member rates) at multiple Taj properties, I can give you long list of such properties. Yes, official policy says it is not allowed. But if you insist & negotiate, they will happily accept.
Would be great if you could mention some properties for future redemption benefit!

Amex Taj vouchers are always accepted for F&B+Spa billed to the room. In this case, whether room is on discounted rate or not does not matter. So if your F&B+Spa is more than Amex Taj voucher value no need to worry
However, they are usually not accepted for settling room only bill when it booked using member rates
Discounted room + (F&B+Spa) more than amex voucher value billed to the room = Amex voucher accepted
Discounted room only = Usually Amex voucher not accepted (very few exceptions exist)
Non discounted room only = Amex voucher accepted

I’ve used such Taj vouchers for spa and food twice at Taj West End.
I’ve even gifted it to my brother.
He’s used it for breakfast with his kids. Again twice.
These are one time use vouchers.
So should be settled at one go, in one bill.
The tnc is quite clear about it.
So can be used, unless there has been some change in tnc.
So you have booked Taj properties on member rate and pay at hotel option and paid using Taj GV. That’s what you’re telling right?
All the good properties are on the list.

Points 2 & 3 are correct. Point 1, only F&B, SPA part is accepted officially via Taj voucher. Clarified with IHCL regional manager. Though in practice they will accept for all 3 scenarios mostly.
F&F Rate ?
Okay, how can we get that?? Can we see that while booking??
