Does being an Axis bank account holder give me a better chance at getting a card from Axis?

If yes ,
1.Does type of account matters. Like zero balance account
2.Balance in account matters?
3.How much difference does it makes

Thanks man, the branch was in 15km away from My Location. I don't know how they classify branch as rural. It was not a rural area.
It is classfied on the basis of sbi branch category of that particular location... If sbi is rural in that area.... Population wise.... All other banks will aslo fall under rural category...

Axis account has high maintenance charges like MAB and they don't give lower variants of Debit card easily, minimum 300+GST for sure. But, good for deposits as interest rates are highest among top banks as well as bank employees will come to your house on one call if you say them you want a new investment or credit card (even in rural area). LTF card is very easy to get in Axis, and LTF is mentioned with their welcome letter itself.

In banking industry IndusInd is high interest provider always

FYI for those saying no 0 MAB account exists, please look into BSBDA accounts, all banks have to open them.
Please check here for reference, free Rupay debit card, no MAB.

I bet to you... The only way u can get this account by automatic downgrade from easy access variant if u dont maintain your required balance fir 3 months straight..... You wont be to able this account easily.... In even rural branch..... Any pvt bank wont open bsdba account easily... You have to fight tooth to nail...

Only one bsdba account can be open with any bank
I know they say this, how can they track? I have never really looked into this tbvh, other than my first account which I opened with SBI which was BSBDA, but it is long closed.

You might have to escalate, but they will have to open with threats from higher authorities.
