IDFC Bank Wealth Programme

Hi there is anyone using IDFC select, wealth or private account.
1) What account variant are you using
2)What was the initial cheque required to open this account
3)What is the AMB and non maintenance charges or do u just need to fund the initial amount and the account becomes zero balance?
4)Did you got select, wealth, private credit card without income docs?
5)Did you have a existing relation with bank and got upgrade to wealth programme
Anyone having nay contact of IDFC Bank kolkata people then please share it and if anyone is using this account share the whole procedure to get this account specifically select account.
 
I currently have an IDFC Select account and have been maintaining a ₹10 lakh AMB (Average Monthly Balance) for over a month. I requested an upgrade through the virtual RM, but she declined as I haven't maintained ₹10 lakh AMB for 3 months. Instead, she asked me to make an investment so she can get approval from the RM for the Wealth upgrade. I asked her to process the upgrade first, and I would make the investment after the upgrade (bluff, though). Trusting my word, she has placed the upgrade request. My question is: If my account gets upgraded to Wealth, can she downgrade it later (since I have no plans to make the investment)? If so, how soon can she downgrade it, and will my Wealth Debit Card also be downgraded?

Also, I have completed ₹3.4 lakh in spends (30,000 reward points) on the Select Debit Card this month (though the reward points haven't been credited yet... Has anyone received their points for this month?). Once the Wealth upgrade is done, will I still receive the 30,000 reward points for my Select Debit Card purchases even after the upgrade? Additionally, if I use the Wealth Debit Card, will I be eligible for up to 50,000 reward points for this month, including the Welcome Benefit, or do I have to wait until next month? If I get the points, will I start earning 10X points from my first spend on the Wealth Debit Card, or only after ₹50,000 in spends?

If your select hasn't been 3 month u can't upgrade to wealth
No matter what
@Bhagat Singh will inform if really bypassed 3 month limit 🤣

Yes if you upgrade this month your limit would be 50k points the same month

select upgrade is over 3 months...

and wealth dowgrade can happen immediately??? what abt debit card?

You should be honest with rm about not making investment
U can offer her u will do fd & rd
Which u can break after 20-25 days

Don't worry omce upgrade RM can not do anything.

Only backend team can trigger downgrade. Even branch manager can not downgrade your account untill backend team doesn't issue notice for 30 days.

How're you getting reward points? I never got reward points. My all transactions are flagged as wallet loads. Be it bill payment via any application or credit card payment.
I do not swipe Debit card offline

my current RM is useless.. so used Virtual RM help to upgrade..
i can see virtual wealth DC in app now..

upgrade was not by my RM but virtual RM who called me for instant loan offer... so on call i requested for wealth upgrade maintinig 12 L balance in my account.

so not I am not sure Virtual RM is from backend team or so... @Vasuki

got reward points by paying cc bils via Airtel app / sbi unipay, jio finance app (stopped DC payments from today), canara setu (i never tried though)

mcc code is utility for above . even i never swipe DC

Virtual RM is like normal rm but with a little less authority. Virtual rm will connect with your homebranch BM mostly.
Also yes no worry for downgrade until backend doesn't start triggering notices like indusind started today. Even if notice received they'll give you 1 month time. If you maintain during than time than no downgrade for you
