Axis Bank Atlas Credit Card worth it. Query & Discussion

He said he’ll set it off against cash bills or whatever adjustments he knows best To a limit of 500k max. Hence asking.
Most likely card will get blocked.... One 100K transaction is fine, but beyond that it will start creating red flag in Axis systems

Another deterrent is Axis will block your miles if you do a large amount in hotel and airtickets
Or more than 5 transactions in hotels and air tickets in a month

It is 3rd best after Magnus Burgundy and HDFC Infinia.

Traveledge has upto 8% markup (including a small convenience fee) and gives 24% return on air tickets up to 2 lacs every month using Magnus burgundy.
So around 16% benefit.

HDFC Smartbuy also has a markup + convenience fee and gives you 16.66% return (excluding markup & convenience fee) on air tickets up to 112500 every month.
So much less than 16% benefit.

Direct airline websites have zero markup & zero convenience fee, but you get only 10% return using Atlas.

Online travel agents give a maximum of 10 to 12% discount (Max 10000)
Does TarvelEdge work like HDFC SmartBuy's flight and hotels booking ? Also does it count for accelerated Edge Miles, like 5x on Smartbuy ?

You can use your reward points for booking hotels and flights directly. But the reward rate is lower at 2%. 1EM = ₹1

Booking flights booked using Atlas credit card will net you 5X for atlas (ie. 10% reward rate for miles transfer)

U mean booking flight via TravelEdge right ? using Atlas.

Why do you want to do this, though? Booking directly on an airline’s or hotel’s website also gives you a 10% discount, except for a few airlines like Cathay Pacific and Alliance Air.
Just for some cases maybe, when direct airlines are costlier, just in case.

Hi, I had two questions regarding the Axis Atlas.
1. So I know that If I pay my insurance or LIC from this card then I won’t get any reward points, But is it still counted towards the 3 lacs and 7.5lacs milestone?
2. Do we get accelerated points 5 on 100 Rs spent on the normal Restaurants or Cafes? Or it only works for the 5 stars hotel restaurants?

I might be wrong, but from what I have figured out, you can buy Amazon Pay vouchers and pay the premium.
As long as its a Hotel's MCC, u will get reward points, usually which doesn't happen at restaurants and cafes everywhere.
