Infinia Not able to set limit on HDFC infinia add on card

I received an add-on card with a different number for my Infinia card, but I noticed that I cannot set the limit for the add-on card through HDFC NetBanking. However, I was able to set the limit through the 'My Cards' app. I also observed that the secondary cardholder can update the limit from their net banking, means can update limit set by primary owner. Does this mean the primary cardholder cannot fully control the limits?

how long we need to wait, any idea ? it's already more than a week.
It should have been done by now. Call the customer care number, it could be a backend issue. Since, giving out different addon numbers is new for HDFC, issues like this are reported by other users in this forum too. Use search to find the relevant post or comment.

@SSV any thoughts here? Basically the addon holder is able to update the limits themselves via mobile banking app. Isn’t this a red flag? I was giving my infinia add on to a friend with a 5/10K limit. But this is making me have second thoughts…
you need to login to mycards, choose add on card and set the limit. As an added layer of security only primary cardholders are able to set the limits for add-on. It won't work from netbanking or mobile app

I am not well versed with add-ons

I have a DCB Metal add on card from my friend.
He (owner of main card) was unable to set the limits for me via both mycards/netbanking, both were saying technical issue, contact customer care.
As usual HDFC CC was useless, they didn't help with anything.
Then I added it in my my mycards and there also I was not able to set limits, it was saying only primary cardholder can set limits.
Then I added the card in my netbanking and I was able to set all the limits there.

So long story short, what worked for me is, add on card holder can set the limits for the add on card by adding it to their netbanking.

so coming back to OP's question, if the add-on card holder can modify the limits on the add-on card without the interference of primary card holder, then it's safe to assume, the primary card holder doesn't have full control over the add-on card

I have checked multiple times, and it has been 2-3 months. The add-on cardholder is able to update the set limit, which overrides the limit set by the primary cardholder. I have also written to HDFC, but I have not received the satisfactory response

Use mycards page, you have ability to set limit from primary card details

I have a query

Husband, address as per bank record - X
Wife, address as per bank record - Y

Both are hdfc customers with seperate CRN, CUSTOMER ID

Q- If husband apply add on card in hdfc for wife, will this be delivered to address X or Y.
