There has been an update in my application status after nearly 30 days or shows now that my application was verified and under credit review.
Can I consider that I'll get the card for sure now?
I had some recent cibil hits and there's a decline and it now 725/-
Will it be enough for the card to be processed?
Also there is something interesting happened in my case.
As I mentioned previously I have given my friends address but 4 days before I got a message that address was not serviceable and I had to update the address correctly with proper noticeable landmark.
Previously when I mailed them they said it's not possible to change address post application and also asked my consent if they can cancel the application but I said please leave it like that and will change address later.
But as i hasto update I have entered a complete new address which is my sister's.
Now comes the important part, home verification and I thought they'll come to my sister's address where I will stay when I'm in Hyderabad but I'm doing wfh.
I got call from verification team and I missed it. 2 days later they called and I was on a important call so couldn't attend their call and I even didn't it was them. I tried calling back but it's not possible as incoming calls aren't allowed for those numbers. Later after an hour I got a call from normal number which they instantly disconnected from their end. After checking in Truecaller it's them. I have called them multiple times but they ignored me.
So I have sent an email to the bank again I have got no response but some how the status of my application was updated. Literally the experience of getting a idfc card was like a rollercoaster. Now waiting for the remaining process to get completed and lay hands on the card.
