Getting an upgrade option for icici emeralde credit card

I am getting a upgrade option with charges for emeralde credit card , currently I am holding a Rubyx card

Should I go for the upgrade?

Why bro? why? Go for Magnus if you want unlimited lounge access and Bogo on BMS. Emeralde has nothing special. Only go for it if u get it for FYF or LTF.

Spoke with RM now, he said emeralde LTF won’t be possible but he offered me Saphiro LTF instead.
I am thinking to put this up to grivience redressal team as I have a pretty good NRV with icici bank let’s see if they can provide it LTF

Yeah, Sapphiro LTF is not that hard if you maintain a decent NRV. I too have it. But for Emeralde, they r not bending the rules. Have tried multiple times.

Yeah , I will settle with Sapphiro LTF eventually , if my escalation to redressal team doesn't yield any result . They are also giving me a limit increase to me from 14.7L to 23.7L

Accept LE and better ask for Emeralde FYF, if they don't accept for LTF.

But as an additional card, not upgrade. So that once you have enjoyed the perks of FYF, you may cancel it near renewal if they don't agree for LTF then too.

Yeah I have taken the LE , for Emeralde I am planning to do the same hence I am not accepting Sapphiro LTF , For emeralde ICICI should provide some welcome and renewal benefits like Magnus to cover up the cost

Try it near renewal by slowly increasing NRV at that time and push for LTF then. Let's see, they may just convert to LTF.

Something about my ICICI Sapphiro credit card: I was in Tier1 city last month and customer service told me that I had to spend ₹50,000 in the previous month to get 1 free golf game. I hated it soo much. Also, you get domestic airport lounge access only on spends of ₹5000 in the previous quarter.
So you decide if u should take ICICI credit cards. Mine is LTF btw

Yeah, that's a bummer. But international lounge access has no spend condition though. And luckily BMS offer also has no conditions attached to it 🤣

Addon doesn’t gets DF
DF is usefull as it gives unlimited lounge access and unlimited airport spa with emeralde card

Strange, I was informed by ICICI Card Manager, I will get DM for add-on card as well.
