Getting an upgrade option for icici emeralde credit card

I am getting a upgrade option with charges for emeralde credit card , currently I am holding a Rubyx card

Should I go for the upgrade?

Strange, I was informed by ICICI Card Manager, I will get DM for add-on card as well.

Dreamfolks card is only for primary , I have escalated for my emeralde too but they denied

Spoke with RM now, he said emeralde LTF won’t be possible but he offered me Saphiro LTF instead.
I am thinking to put this up to grivience redressal team as I have a pretty good NRV with icici bank let’s see if they can provide it LTF

What all is counted in NRV? Savings acc Balance + FDs ?

Anything else as well? Lockers/loans? MF/insurance bought via bank?

What are the benefits of Emerald over Sapphiro? Any help to quickly understand this.

Over Sapphiro, emeralde can be good for:
1. Unlimited Domestic + Intl lounges
2. No OVL / Cash withdrawal charges. (Don't use it though)
3. Forex markup of 1.5%
4. BMS 750 off on second ticket (Sapphiro has 500 off on second ticket).


IMO, don't upgrade to emeralde, try for emeralde private. Because every renewal year, they will give 12,500 points, effectively making the card fees only the GST. Also it's metal card.
However, if one can get Emeralde as LTF, it would be really good card.
