how do they decide the market value of gold? How will GST be applied ? How can gold be redeemed?
These are some burning questions.

I did read somewhere that amazon 5% is through the UNI Store.

Btw the new partners are Bank of Baroda and Yes Bank for the Gold X card. Those who are on SBM Uni and already have a Yes Bank card will be migrated to BOB's Gold X card

Not sure why the application is on hold for uni credit card!!!! Any ideas?

They claim UPI coming soon, but they're offering mastercard variant only for now. 😅

So if people get mastercard now, and later they roll out rewards on UPI transactions, mastercard holders won't be eligible right? If my understanding is correct that only rupay supports upi on cc, for now?

Just got a call from Uni .. today only I applied for it ... I asked answers to the queries on this thread
1. Rupay cc when live will be virtual card and will be a kind of add on card with shared limit of Mastercard
2. For gold he said there is no gst it will be credited and you can sell at market rate of that day

Wonder how its sustainable to give cb as gold. I think they credit cash n we can claim it as gold right and not 1% as gold for our spending or both are same

They will give you gold worth 1% of transaction at the market rate of that day ... So I think it's not an issue as such

OMG I never saw 1Cr anywhere on forum before you are sitting at 2 Cr, mind blown

Cards with shared limits are added separately. So, if you have say, 3 Axis cards with 33.33L limit shared amongst them, that shows up as 1Cr total limit though you actually have only 33.33L.

I got whatsapp message in February 1st week for upgrade to gold X card in reserve, but till now I yet to get the card. Anyone got the card who opted reserve option in February

My SBM Uni got closed automatically this week by them after all dues were paid. They said since I've another Yes Bank CC, they'll try to onboard me to Bank of Baroda Uni Gold X. But it will take time. I mocked them saying will it take as much as time as last time it took for Uni credit line card to become Uni credit card and they said they can't comment how long.

But at least I will get a decent limit this time around. SBM Bank gave only 60K
