Devaluation Axis ACE Dead? GPay Removed Credit Card Option for electricity Bill Payment - Discussion

Hi guys,

GPay recently started charging a convenience fee for paying electricity bills using the Axis ACE card. This was one of the best cards for bill payments due to its 5% cashback. However, when I tried paying my bill today, I realized that the option to select my existing linked card was missing.

Is it gone for everyone else here? Is this the last nail in the coffin :/

There's literally no point in keeping this card except for 1.5% offline spends.

I also closed ace yesterday and they gave myzone LTF. Will keep myzone for sometime and if don't see any benefit then close it soon. Last time also when I took it and asked to close they said they will change it to LTF but at that since I needed other axis cards so went forward closing it.

Are they upgrading it to My zone?

Just by reading her comment I did try to reinstall the gpay the problem is solved guys try this troubleshoot


1) sign out from gpay
2) wait for 10 mins
3) install gpay
4) sign up
5) then try
6) it's done

Is it working? I had a flipkart axis cc added on gpay. It was showing for electric bill payments. Recieved ace cc today. After adding it i can't see the option to pay via cc anymore. Flipkart axis is also not showing.

People are getting axis Previlage as LTC

I have 3 axis cards, 1. Fk , 2. Ace 3. Neo. …….there is no offer showing in my application, some days before called customer care they intimated me about privilege credit card but chargeable.

As Axis ace currently more or less useless , bcs my offline spend is too negligible (1.5% cb)- in a year hardly 3-4K. Besides no gpay electricity bill offer ( mobile recharge use platinum debit card) . . Only one benefit , when 10% discount offer in Amz and Fk, it provides ~11.5% . So, I think I should close it, for better offer in future , what is ur option guys.
