SBI Cashback CC Application Error – 6-Month Rule or Something Else?

I applied for my first SBI Credit Card (SimplyClick CC) on 15/10/2024, and it was approved. Now, with the financial year ending and high approval chances, I decided to apply for the SBI Cashback CC today (10/03/2025), which means there’s a gap of almost 5 months between applications.

However, when I applied through SBI Sprint, I got an error at the end stating:
"Cannot process your application due to internal policies." (Image attached below)

I still received an application number via SMS, but when I try to track the application, it shows an "Invalid application number" after entering the OTP.

Is this issue due to the 6-month waiting period between SBI card applications? Should I wait until after 15 April 2025 to apply again, or is there any other way to get this card?

Cool down period on sprint is 90 days.
The screen shot says your application has been declined due to internal policies.
Also check for the cibil enquiry for confirmation.

Yes there is a CIBIL Enquiry but I do not see any valid reason for straight away rejection.
My SimplyClick was approved with 89k limit 5 months back.
Will visit branch tomorrow as they are able to see the reason.

That is because u already have maximum limit from sbi cards as of now. Mostly reason will be U2(Over-leveraged). No use visiting the branch.
Just drop a mail to sbi cards, ask them for the reason or reconsideration.

U could have waited another month , then would have easily approved.
Seen a similar case where the one who applied within 5 mnths was rejected but the other who applied after 6 mnths that got approved.

That is because u already have maximum limit from sbi cards as of now. Mostly reason will be U2(Over-leveraged). No use visiting the branch.
Just drop a mail to sbi cards, ask them for the reason or reconsideration.

If the issue is max limit then they can provide split limit from current card

I thought approval chances are good in March and SBI Sprint Cooldown period is 90 days so applied
