@Ram1 can I use Debit card details (after delivery) to register for netbanking without generating green pin first. I accidently uninstalled CentMobile for 2nd CIF while cleaning up home screen ICONs, I can re register with Debit card or netbanking (will need debit card for this too) but I can only generate green pin after login.

I dont wanna bother branch guys until I get the second joint account opened.

Yes dont worry it wont ask pin. Just card number and expiry date enough to generate password

Thanks, I thought it wouldn't validate debit card details until the Green PIN is generated. This saves me a visit to the ATM 😀

So guys after the first bank denied me the second debit card. I will visit cboi ro branch and there is second branch 500 mtr away from it both in very good area of my city for my sister's account and add my father to the joint account. @dvader can you please elaborate the process of opening joint account. so I don't make a mistake.

I have doubt, 8s it necessary to visit home branch for additional to joint account holder in cbi?
Or it can be opened in any branch?

What is the cent queen product code for second dc apply?
Should it fill in physical form or it will be fill by employee in their computer?

Sharing the entire process,

1. I searched for a Central Bank Branch in the most posh area of my tier 2/3 city.
2. Went to branch and asked them to open the Cent Queen Account.
3. The branch employee started filling out the form. There is no separate code/form for Cent Queen. You have to inform them or just write at the top of the form.
4. Make sure you fill out your Email ID (you can't add it via net banking), and check Mobile Banking...

Yeah ofc I did. And the guy knew I am getting another joint queen account still the CIF lady had to be reminded. Eitherway just highlighting that it needs to be reminded multiple times.

BTW they were quite sure on the 2nd add on card. One of the guy told me that they tried it in a similar scenario (just not cent queen) and they couldn't issue 2nd Addon on one CIF. still they will try in case something has changed.

Unrelated: I don't do branch banking. But It's really surprising how dumb general public is and I am not talking about illiterate people, I understand their needs and issues and branches are there to accomodate them first. I am talking about educated, professional being utter dumb and thick on purpose. Fighting with employees to fill their forms, filling NEFT/RTGS forms for 50000 and checking status in mobile banking (let that sink in), asking a print out of statement and passbook to match them, sending someone else to do branch banking for them (not for elderly family member mind you) then creating rukus after the ac holder (a guy in 20s) comes in. Barging in BM's cabin for minor issues that have already been explain by three employees. For the first time I realized that PSU banks cant be held completely responsible for their behaviour some of that is on us too.

A guy in is late 20s walks in, explains that he has a dormant account and asks if CBoI is safe for INR 4-5 Lacs. I have some trauma after watching all this. I have to visit the branch just once more and that's it. BTW PSUs don't give a F*** about freeze as long as law enforcement is not envolved, do whatever you want.

don't worry you reminded them so they will open queen only
and even if they don't you owe samosas to them
they will convert for you and then issue dc
