Does BOB Rupay Select NCMC provide full benefits of Rupay Select?

After checking many threads on this forum, I decided to open an online account in BOB. However, I guess I made a mistake and jt seems my account is not super savings but I still see an option to request physical debit card which says Rupay Select NCMC. Will this card provide me same wellness and OTT benefits of a Rupay select card? If yes, do I not need to upgrade my account to super savings by keeping an AMB of 20k?

Homestly, I’m unable to figure out, I opened it completely online so didn’t get any welcome kit. A letter came that doesn’t mention my account type and I can’t find any mention of my account type in mobile banking.
But good to know that my end goal of gettinf a Rupay select card will be fulfilled 😍

NCMC means this is Debit card + Metro card too.

Almost all RuPay debit cards are NCMC cards.

It should provide all applicable benefits. My personal opinion would be not to upgrade if u able to apply for RSDC as u said getting RSDC was ur goal. If possible share with us your account variant, if possible, and also update after u get this card. Look at some other related threads you will get plentiful resources. Enjoy.

Hey folks - Finally figured out that it is bob super savings account only. Applied for Rupay Select NCMC card physical since the option was not coming in virtual card. The experience of opening account online and then applying for debit card was probably the best I ever had, can’t believe it is a sarkari bank!

No virtual RSDC in BOB.
Physical Card will be delivered to you in 2 weeks. Their RSDC looks really good, and even the courier contents are really good.. just wait for it.

After 2 weeks, still not able to redeem benefits on Rupay portal due to authentication error. Wouldn’t recommend opening account online in BoB. Even my account number is not recognised by their IVRS so cannot get in touch with customer care. Have to go to branch only as last resort 😖

Since it's the quarter-end, you're likely to encounter an error. Try again early in the morning or at midnight.
Next time, try to claim at least 15 days before the quarter ends to avoid this.

Interesting, thank you for your suggestion. I will try in April now.
