Registration Stamp duty via Credit card

I have 8L Telangana Stamp duty and registration charges coming up next week. Any point in using credit cards?

1. DCB - 15L
2. AMEX MRCC - 5L
3. Yes Marquee - 1L

Axis Atlas might have been good but there isn't enough time, I guess.

Has anyone paid Telangana stamp duty using credit card from this thread?

I've Amex plat travel so was wondering if I should save it for that.

Also, any other card which is giving any rewards for this and does someone know if stamp duty amount can be paid in multiple transactions?

Recently paid on telangana website and it didn't even give an option for me to use CC. So just went ahead and paid via netbanking.
It was 11.5L. Not sure if the amount was the reason for not giving option for CC
Also builder mentioned it might not be good idea to pay in multiple installments since it might create a problem during registration time

I've similar amount so doesn't make sense then to pay through credit card if I can't break it up.

Is anyone seeing CC option on stamp duty payment on Telangana website? Need to pay arnd 8L but not seeing CC option. Is there some way to enable that? In website's user guide, it shows Credit Card as option, but not visible on payment page.

Yes it didn't give an option for CC last month

i tried using amex it didn't work as the CVV was only restricted to 3 digits , i ended up using my ICICI Rubyx card to pay . there was 3500 rupees extra charge for using credit card .

so what is the percentage for charge for using credit card ,i too need to pay 14L as stamp duty in chennai . did you try sbi pg ?

I paid around 45 lakhs of stamp duty via my Biz Black earlier this year and received 3.3% reward points. I split in into a few parts as basically you have to purchase stamp papers online for the entire amount and you can purchase multiple ones. Got around 1.5 lakh rewards points for it.

you split the stamp paper purchase for registry? these days do they allow that coz it's digital and you can purchase any amount in one go...

In Haryana, you have to purchase stamp papers for the required amount online and attach the PDF. So you can buy one for 45.5 lakhs of two of 30 and 15.5 lakhs and so on.
