I have 8L Telangana Stamp duty and registration charges coming up next week. Any point in using credit cards?

1. DCB - 15L
2. AMEX MRCC - 5L
3. Yes Marquee - 1L

Do they accept the CC? If yes, then first you will need a card that provides CB/RP for govt transactions.

Yes they accept CC. So no HDFC I am assuming, only few CCs give RP for govt I guess.

If infinia is the goal, then DCB for sure, infinia FYF will be cake walk to you. Otherwise split for RPs should do you good.

When I tried to pay with my credit card in 2018, the buggy system wouldn’t progress, despite 10s of attempts.
Ended up getting a DD.

Don't know the underlying service used by govt but the main service to use is the govt website https://registration.telangana.gov.in/

So trade RPs for infinia if that’s your priority.

IDFC wealth pays RP for government transactions. I got the same for paying advance income tax. Reward is around 2% minus any PG charges.

Not 2 but ~1.5.
PG for tax portal is 0.8. Including GST it is 0.9. Rounding to 1. It's effectively 1.5.
