I have 8L Telangana Stamp duty and registration charges coming up next week. Any point in using credit cards?

1. DCB - 15L
2. AMEX MRCC - 5L
3. Yes Marquee - 1L

Axis Atlas might have been good but there isn't enough time, I guess.

if there is an option and they aren't charging any surcharge then YES you should use CC....
these days most of the govt org accept payment through CC without any surcharge

IDFC Wealth only gives 0.75% on government transactions.

I myself paid 2.5L fee for building plan through my APay card last year...

I have to pay around 5L of stamp duty and registration charges in Pune (Maharashtra) in next 3-4 days. Need to know can I use credit card for the payment and which credit cards to use. I have the below cards.

1. Amex platinum travel (for 4L milestone, not sure on accpetibility)
2. Biz Black (for flat 3.3%, Not sure on acceptibility)
3. Amazon pay ICICI ( Not sure if it gives rewards points anymore as during sample ITR payment it did not for me)
4. IDFC wealth (0.75 %)
5. SC smart (for 1K CB)

Also can I split the payment between the cards ?

Most of these cards will work but the site might levy a 1% payment gateway charge too sadly.

APay gave me 1% for Token & Registration Payments but the gateway charges 1.18% extra. There is also a way to not pay these PG charges and still use a Credit Card, iykyk

Probably he is talking about rupay credit card via qr code, but don't try as your amount is huge to be playing around, i tried with 10k on snadeal rupay, transaction failed recieved refund after 15 days

Transaction success depends on SBI payment gateway. It changes mood every hour. In one hour, all transactions will go through, then none in the next one, and again working after that. 🤣

I think everyone knows this QR code tricks are universal, They can't do anything about it. Not much cards gives huge rewards on upi transactions, so they even don't bother i think.

How did you payed it finally?
Which card did it worked on Maharashtra govt site and did it fetched RPs?

i tried using amex it didn't work as the CVV was only restricted to 3 digits , i ended up using my ICICI Rubyx card to pay . there was 3500 rupees extra charge for using credit card .

I am a stamp duty agent, my office pays cumulative stamp duty amounting to Rs 5-6 Lakhs each month for various customers , will it merit to use the HDFC biz black for clients stamp duty payments? or will HDFC not permit such transactions ? Note i don't want to risk my association with HDFC if this comes across as not permissible, moreover i don't have the biz black yet & was thinking of applying one. Any experts here can comment.
