SBI Debit Card Reward Point - Changes w.e.f. 1st May, 2024:​

There have been several changes in SBI debit card reward point, full details can be found here : https://rewardz.sbi/content/overview -> Debit Card

Some of the changes observed are :

- 1,000 reward points capping per transaction (earlier it was 100 reward points)
- 10,000 reward points capping per calendar month (earlier it was 1,000 reward points)
- 200 birthday bonus reward points capping removed (not sure but it can't be seen anymore)
- all transactions will accumulate reward points except for account to wallet and account to account transactions

Excluding account to wallet and account to account transactions may mean no more accumulating reward points on CC bill payment via MobiKwik.

I have recently received reward points for CC payment via Mobikwik using SBI virtual DC. One thing I have noticed is that nowadays SBI is taking much longer to credit the reward points compared to before. Earlier the points usually appeared 2-3 days after the transaction but now it is taking upto 15 days

As per the above table, NO. Should've gotten 148 pts according to it. But it looks like they have now removed the 2X reward points for virtual DC from the table on their website.

So no more rps for wallet loading via Amazon too. Guess only millenia gives for wallet and not sure of other banks which provides rps for dc via wallet load

This clause has been removed from the website :

This possibly means no reward points on virtual debit card since the below clause is still showing on the website and clearly states 2 RP per Rs. 200 for all debit card variants except IOCL debit card and virtual debit card :

All the points earned post 1st June'24 will be valid for 24 months or 2 years from the accrual date. However, the points earned prior to 1st June'24 will continue to have a validity of 36 months or 3 years from the accrual date. Additional points earned at Partner Stores are valid for 12 months or 1 year from the accrual date

What is the value of 1 SBI Point?

Value of 1 SBI Point = Rs. 0.25

When do Bank points get posted ?

Bank points will be posted within 7 days from the date of transaction.

When do Partner points or bonus points get posted ?

Partner or bonus points will be posted within 120 days from the date of transaction.

The thing is only till JUNE 2 RPs are updated.
Let's wait and see.
