SBI Debit Card Reward Point - Changes w.e.f. 1st May, 2024:​

There have been several changes in SBI debit card reward point, full details can be found here : https://rewardz.sbi/content/overview -> Debit Card

Some of the changes observed are :

- 1,000 reward points capping per transaction (earlier it was 100 reward points)
- 10,000 reward points capping per calendar month (earlier it was 1,000 reward points)
- 200 birthday bonus reward points capping removed (not sure but it can't be seen anymore)
- all transactions will accumulate reward points except for account to wallet and account to account transactions

Excluding account to wallet and account to account transactions may mean no more accumulating reward points on CC bill payment via MobiKwik.

Rupay Virtual Debit is not giving rewards points in Mobikwik whereas VISA Physical card is giving rewards points but after 15+ days.

Another person who never went through TnC. Birthday bonus or any kind of accelerated points are credited within 120 days. Clearly mentioned on SBI Rewardz website. Kabhi khol ke read kar liya karo aalsiyo. 🤣 Happy Birthday, lazy bro. Take a resoltion this B'day that before asking question, you will try to read things yourself. Jo Jaagat Hai So pavat hai, Jo sovat hai woh bas neend pavat hai.

Partner or bonus points will be posted within 120 days from the date of transaction.

Second last is important too,

When do Bank points get posted ?

Bank points will be posted within 7 days from the date of transaction.

As you took me to the enlightenment journey, I also want to share something. Now, I also visited my transaction history of last year and found that rewards were credited exactly after 1 month of birthday. I didn't notice then, as transactions were small. But this time, transactions were big, that made me curious for the answer.

Yes, max. time is 120 days. Also SBI keep running 2X offers whose bonus points are credited within next 30 days from calender month. So you have to differentitate between them. Keep a check on how you use it so that no points are missed. 🙂
