The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

Did anyone start receiving the new AXIS OLYMPUS CARD from the bank ... using normal process. Not with lost/damaged complaint route.
No updates , nothing yet for me.

Wondering when will it start .

This email is slightly different from the one I got. Mine says "Your credit card number, PIN, annual fee and statement date will remain the same".. It does not say "You can continue to enjoy your existing spend based waiver". This is the key difference in my opinion. They may change the spend based criteria for me at some point.

Is your card a LTF card or a paid card, and what Citi Card Varient?
As suspected, this line makes all th difference..

My replacement Citi Rewards to Axis Rewards card was delivered today. The letter says that annual fees are 1000/ but the spending waiver limit is not written on the letter.
At the bottom of the letter is a QR code for the TnC. On scanning that code, it takes me to the NEW Axis Rewards TnC which states that spend waiver is now 2L and not 30k.
In my email during the migration, the line "You can continue to enjoy your existing spend based waiver" is not mentioned and hence I have been moved from 30k to 2L as spend based waiver.
Now will have to try and see if I can convert this to LTF, else I will close this card!!

Guys, has anyone successfully converted a paid Citi migrated to Axis card to LTF so far??
Another option would be to upgrade to a better paid variant, thinking of Atlas,.. is Atlas paid worth it now, after all the devaluation?

Edit. I also have M4B, so this card is pretty useless.

I just spoke with customer care and they confirmed that the 30K limit remains valid for the migrated cards.

So after migration it was the same, until Axis issued the replacement card. Did customer care confirm that the replacement card for the Citi Varient has the same spend criteria?

it should be written confirmation not through 'customer care confirmation', which is invalid. spends AFAIK must be as per new varient requirement i.e., 2L.

That is what the QR code for the TnC on my Axis Varient of the rewards cards says. 2L min spend. I yet have to get a confirmation from customer care in writing, and most probably they may be unaware.

Get through in mail, other than that any mode of confirmation may not valid in future.

written confirmation ?
I rechecked the official email sent out in July, it is quite clearly mentioned there too -- "Your annual fee remains the same and you can continue to enjoy your existing spend-based fee waiver limit as is."

then keep this as somewhere safe and use during renewals. All good.

I lost my Citi Rewards ccc recently. I called up customer care and asked them to replace it as it was due for renewal in Jan 25. Before doing this, I has locked the card in the Open app. I received the replacement card today and I was surprised to see that the spend based waiver is now fixed at 2L. I then called up the customer care. The person said, 30K spend waiver is applicable only until the card's expiry date. Since my card is expiring in Jan 25, I will only get the waiver if I have spent 30k in this anniversary year. For the subsequent years, the spend limit would be 2L for the fee to be waived. This means Axis Bank is not honoring its commitment. What should I do next, where can I complain? Pls advice.
The policy of Axis Bank does not seem to be consistent across different CCs. I had a Citi Cashback CC too for which I made a replacement request along with the Rewards card. I received that card too and going forward, there is no annual fees associated with it. It is clearly mentioned in the mailer that I received that the annual fees is 0.
Astounding Axis!!

If your axis card is after migrating citi card, and you have the below screenshot with you..

then it doesn't matter whether they honor or not, simply mail to PNO and request for fee waiver based on spends (when that charged or billed to your account). You're eligible to get fee waiver and if not honored can complain to Ombudsman with compensation.

They will waive the annual fees for this year if spends are more than 30K. From next year onwards, the game is going to be different. 2L will be the milestone for zero annual fees. I thought their commitment towards spends based waiver is for lifetime. Did they communicate otherwise at any point of time? I don't remember.
