Oldest card is from 2018 (I am 99% sure, or 2019), Got a job while I was still in college. Didn't know a single thing about CCs but saw an offer on HSBC Card for a Refrigerator (on Amazon I think). A few days later I saw an HSBC camp in my office criteria, applied for the platinum card, and got it with a meager limit of (40 or 45k). It's the only card I have some mental attachment to and I always carry it in my wallet. Got me through some hard times too. Today the limit has increased to 10L.how old is your oldest CC ?
38 is huge number, how you manage them and track dues etc ?
How long is your journeyI just looked at my active CCs and the number is 38.
A bit high but I don't rotate or manufacture spends in any way so the only time I waste is once a year doing a Rs 5 transaction on all cards in case one of them didn't get used. I have cards with (almost) every bank so if I am making a payment, I check if there is a bank offer, sometimes friends and family use my cards but that's about it. I don't chase any spend criteria apart from the Amex spend offers during the festive seasons.
Cards to get in the future
AU Bank (the only ba**rd I don't have right now)
Optional Cards
Union Bank/Other 2nd tier PSU bank rupay select card (already have CCs from SBI, BoB, and PNB)
The first card was in late 2018 or early 2019.How long is your journey

that is one solid portfolioMy card list in order or issue.
Closed Cards
1. Bobcard (Don't remember the variant) - Got it in 1997. Now Closed
2. HDFC (I think it was called Platinum) - Upgraded a couple of times and finally to Regalia.
3. SBI (A basic yellow card. No variant name) - Closed.
4. CorpCard - Upgraded to Union Bank Signature after Corporation, Andhra and Union Bank Merger.
Active Cards
5. Union Bank Signature Visa - Still valid and currently my oldest card.
6. ICICI Amazon Pay - Still valid.
7. IndusInd EazyDiner - Less than a year old.
8. ICICI Coral Rupay - Less than a year old
9. HDFC Infinia - Less than a year old.
Currently 5 active cards. Infinia is my newest card but HDFC is the card issuer that is the oldest among my current portfolio considering that the Bobcard and SBI Card are closed.
Yea, pretty much sorted with this for the moment though I don't see much value in the Union Bank and IndusInd Cards. Amazon Pay also sees little use after I got the Infinia.that is one solid portfolio
