This is the current status of my payments with IDFC Select DC and Firstap Rupay DC. Hopefully the points would get credited soon. Today marks the 12th working day since the Feb 18th transaction. Anyway waiting patiently.

I have not received points for entire month of February. Actually I had taken first tap in January month end and did all transactions on it. From past experience new debit card points do not get credited for couple of months as if it is not even configured in system. When I got select upgraded to wealth, for 2months I had to keep asking everytime for rewards with customer service team. Later it became normal. This time just waiting for till March end hoping it will get cleared automatically by month end.

@Indrajeet100 That's interesting, in my case, many of the transactions without points credited are on recently issued debit cards (First Tap, Select DC), ie just a day after it got delivered.

If I don't receive the points in 14 working days, will open a ticket with IDFC.

Actually it is but there are 9-10 transactions , each time I have to check 14 working days raise request. Better will wait till month end. If not credited by then, will raise a single request for entire month's transactions. Waise bhi there are plenty of points which currently don't have much use. Let it became larger, will then book flights for free for next vacation.

Your debit card is not linked to the rewards portal. Happens to new cards sometimes. Call them and ask if your card is linked properly, else ask them to do it.

Which Debit card use for Credit Card bill payment in Feb & March 2025:

1) IDFC Debit cards: All IDFC account holder apply 2nd debit card - Add-on IDFC Firstap Sticker RuPay Platinum Debit Card.

You will get same reward points and 10x reward points benefit as per your account variant - Normal/General, Select, Wealth and Private account.

Apply 2nd IDFC Debit card ( primary visa/mastercard card + this add-on RuPay card both will coexist) from IDFC app, under your debit card section.

Would raising the issue with the RM help in anyway?

My rewards for transactions done on Feb 18 are missing. Feb 19 transaction rewards were received within 2-3 days.

First tap rewards are not credited yet.
8k welcome bonus not credited yet.
Paid bill using mobile banking few days ago and 250 rewards not credited yet.

If not credited then contact customer care. This will also help to devalued the IDFC rewards. 🤣 🤣

Another guy not received rewards on 1st feb transaction, after complaint, yesterday he received rewards + welcome bonus.

Some people told - if your card or account is new, your new account/card is not linked with IDFC rewards system that's why too much delay.

You can complaint after 30 days or wait 2-3 months all rewards will credit automatic, once your account or card become old, you will automatically getting all reward points within 30 days.

One guy received after 60 to 90 days.

Wait upto 30 days.

Canara setu is now not eligible but your old transaction "Retail CC" merchant name, you will get rewards.

Man your card was issued in 2023. How can they provide you "welcome" rewards in 2025?
