One of my friend hold SBI Elite Credit Card Rupay Variant with 187000 limit and used his card well (Approx 3L in past 6 months from issue date). Recently he applied for SBI CB card and completed VKYC and verifications.
Now he received a call from SBI stating that to process SBI CB application, limit has to be split from SBI Elite CC else the application will not be processed, Is it the same case? (He already have 90000 EMI on the card, so he will have around 97000 limit on SBI Elite CC to be split). What suggestion needs to be done here?

What can be done here? Yesbank is not accepting conversion of my Reserv card to Rupay Variant. @Abhishek012 or any Rupay masters. I have even sent RBI Circular and Rupay card images.
