Also nothing full proof safe in this digital world. People share their whole bank, card statement to axis of other banks to get credit card, loan etc. so that carry information much more than this.

(un)fortunately, they can only see what is going out & what is coming into the safe. they can't take anything from the safe using this keys.....

this I am not comfortable with sharing with a bank (ie. sharing one bank account transaction level details with another bank) ...

Didn't know anyone with axis but same linking option available on FI also and they have only access to current balance some recent transactions.

Again this will only access your current balance and some basic detail nothing else.

It actually says we can remove the access anytime…
Whether that removal removes all the traces of our info in their systems or not is another question…

Even if we remove, it will most likely remove future access, but the data which is shared is shared and that data itself is worth more than mere 200 bucks.

Actually this whole proposition is more beneficial to the Banks and not so much to the customer..
For customers what we may gain:
1) don’t need to share our salary slip/ statements to the bank when applying for any credit product.. just give consent to get it from another bank
2) we can view consolidated statement at one bank combining all the banks at one place…

But with this data the bank who is getting the access can see our 360 degree account activities across all our accounts which they can use it for any purposes… this I am not comfortable with..
