📢 Announcement: Website Downtime Update

There's a reason that support response time (with competent support staff) is the most important metric while choosing a host.

Unfortunately, the good ones all tend to be expensive, and even more sadly, there aren't many Indian web hosts with a good reputation in that aspect.

Btw, I know most folks immediately think VPS when they have high traffic, but real high quality shared hosting (not the regular overloaded ones) often does the job too, and at a fraction of the VPS price.

You should have mentioned some of that type of services

Though I think it's not recommended to host a community platform like technofino to a shared hosting.

The best way is cloud hosting if budget supports. GCS , AWS , azure or Oracle, Oracle has good free tier.

@TechnoFino If your technical team have expertise then please check Oracle cloud once using test mode under free tier. All the major cloud service provider have massive free tier. If you see after testing that the expenses are in check. Then you can consider them. If not then regular one.

Because in the long run and in cases of surges you may have a higher bill but your site will not be down. No problem of scaling.

Oracle free tier resources are limited and subject to availability. Free tier come with no guarantee and can vanish any time, many have reported this issue.

Always go for paid subscription with SLA.

Yes I know, previously brother sumanta aka technofino already mentioned that the cloud services are way more costly than what he was using.

That is why I mentioned about checking it by using free tier with test website, how it's going, not the actual community site.
