Is PP usage complementary within India for Magnus holders?Only Amex Platinum and PP are accepted.
Yep, it does get charged but then it is reversed in a day or soIs PP usage complementary within India for Magnus holders?
Yes they keep changing basis the crowd insideUsed priority pass today at 080 international and got access. PP doesn't guarantee the access, when I was leaving I saw a lady with priority pass sent to the BLR lounge because 080 was almost full.
Timing matters.
Which cards were acceptedJust got denied PP at 080 Intnl
It depends on the crowd inside. They give preference to First & Business class ticket holders.Just got denied PP at 080 Intnl
AFAIK there isn't is any international Vistara flight that starts from Bangalore. Almost every Vistara international flight start either from Delhi or Mumbai.International lounge are generally tend to be better than the domestic ones as they’ve less crowd and better Ambience. But people travelling from Bangalore using Vistara can’t use it now as all Vistara flights will board from
T2, and it doesn’t have an international lounge at all 😞
Even it’s domestic lounge is very small and inferior compared to T1.
I'm talking about Domestic flights. I always went to domestic lounge in T1 until one fine day the domestic lounge was way too crowded and I asked a staff if there is any other lounge here as well. They said yes there's an international one which I didn't know it existed for almost 2 years. I went there and since I had Magnus' Priority Pass, they allowed me in along with my sister using a guest visit.AFAIK there isn't is any international Vistara flight that starts from Bangalore. Which route are you talking about?
Did you access the lounge at the international terminal while you had a domestic flight? I think you are mistaken as that is not possible. At least not here in India as Domestic Departure/Arrival is separated from International Departure/Arrival. You would need to pass through immigration to get to the other side from the domestic terminal. I think what you're describing is the 080 domestic lounge, which is dead opposite the BLR domestic lounge.I'm talking about Domestic flights. It was wayy better than the domestic lounge and the crowd was almost half, maybe less than that. There were lot more food options and personal cabins with TV and sleeping pods. I can just travel with a non Vistara airline to experience it again!
Yes, that may be true. I guess you are talking about 080 Domestic lounge. Like the other reply above it's unlikely you can access international departure area with a domestic ticket. They said yes there's an international one which I didn't know it existed for almost 2 years. I
No it was the 080 international lounge, there are only 2 lounges in Bangalore T1. I've been to domestic, this was international. Domestic was visible from where I was having my breakfast in international lounge, crowded as usual.Did you access the lounge at the international terminal while you had a domestic flight? Yes, that may be true. But for Bangalore, the domestic lounge is way better than the international counterpart
We can, there are people in this community who have done the sameI guess you are talking about 080 Domestic lounge. Like the other reply above it's unlikely you can access international departure area with a domestic ticket.
That is impossible. To clarify, there are four lounges in Bangalore. Two each in Domestic and International terminals, namely, BLR Lounge and 080 Lounge operated by TFS. 080 is the new and acclaimed one.No it was the 080 international lounge, there are only 2 lounges in Bangalore T1. I'm sure it was international because when I showed my credit card, they said it won't work and I had to use my Priority pass. Usually the international lounge is on international departures like T3 Delhi, but in Bangalore T1 both are in front of each other.
Also I was charged for that lounge (around $30) few weeks after my visit, and the amount was refunded the very next day as Magnus' Priority pass provided unlimited international lounge access. This wouldn't have happened if it was a domestic lounge.
Oh. Got it, the lounge was so good that it seemed like an international lounge. I don't know why they denied entry through Magnus then, maybe they want to create segregation between domestic lounges that only those who have good credit cards can access the 'better' 080 domestic lounge. Thanks for the clarification. Domestic or international, the lounge was amazing. And not many people know about it because everyone sees the BLR Lounge first and just go with the crowd maybe. That is impossible. To clarify, there are four lounges in Bangalore. If you flew domestic sector, then you first went to BLR domestic lounge, and as usual, it may have been full. The lounge operator may have mistakenly told you that it was an international lounge. As I said before most airports around the world have segmented international and domestic passenger traffic. This is for obvious reasons. Immigration acts as a checkpoint, if what you claim is true, you just somehow managed to escape all that scrutiny and accessed the international side. That would be a major breach of security.
If you still aren't convinced, there is just one lounge with a library, mini theatre and sleeping/work pods in Bangalore. Guess which one? 080 domestic lounge. 080 lounge on the international side(which is after immigration) is just another boring lounge.
Also, what you saw while having breakfast is the BLR domestic lounge. Both of which are open and visible to each other on the mezzanine floor.
PS: BLR lounge is the name of the lounge.
This thread is exclusively for 080 international lounge in T1.Oh. Got it, the lounge was so good that it seemed like an international lounge. Also, why do people say in this thread that we can access international lounge with domestic ticket then? Is there any international lounge located on the domestic side?
