1% cashback on CC billpayment on SBI unipay portal?

Guys saw someone's post on Twitter saying credit card billpayment using HDFC platinum debit card on SBI unipay portal gives 1% cashback. Has anyone tried this? is yes please give details

I thought I found a suitable mode for paying HDFC CCs for cashback 🤦

Since the hdfc dc was failing I paid the bill with sbi cashback card. Surprisingly it went thru with no additional charges. The payment was not credited in hdfc yet but read it somewhere it will take 4 to 5 days and hoping it will!

If all goes smooth I will pay the sbi cc bill with hdfc paltinum dc to get 1%. Let's see how it goes.

Isn't this the credit rotation feature from sbi, i.e. paying credit card bill with a sbi credit card? This is charged extra, isn't it?

Not sure what you mean by credit rotation feature. It works for now and let's make use of it while it lasts.

That's a different thing called Balance Transfer and it's available on all the credit cards.

Correction , it's called Balance Transfer.
My point being, does it have any extra charges?
